Address: Dinagat Islands
Description: The Dinagat islands are known for a range of natural resources – from metallurgical-grade chromite, to magkono (Philippine ironwood), and its rich fishing grounds. As such, the area has been subjected to resource degradation, further spurred by the generally poor economic and socio-political conditions of the province, as well as by extreme weather conditions.
