This research project revisits the evolution, concept, and distinctive elements of Sustainable and Integrated Area Development (SIAD) initiatives for rural development, particularly its contributions to climate change adaptation and biodiversity conservation. The compendium of validated case studies is now available, which includes the enhanced SIAD framework, a useful resource for capacity-building among civil society networks.
