Project Goals and Objectives

The project aims to address the problems on increasing disaster risks, health and sanitation, and lack of income through the following: Training to focus on preparedness and prevention/mitigation aspect, DRR through awareness (contribute indirectly to climate change mitigation measures) and shift in people’s orientation towards health and safe food by growing organic vegetables (bio-intensive), and proper waste disposal. In doing this, the project shall involve the target communities in planning, implementation and management.

Expected results include identified and assessed risks, hazard map, target communities trained on community-based CCDRR and CCDRR Plan
