Project Goals and Objectives
To create sustainable enterprises and implement environmental programs and projects over the long term starting with the adoption of the EcoAgri experience on the installation of solar home systems as a form of conservation trade-off
Outputs and Outcomes
TARGET OUTPUTS:
1. Community consultations and planning:
• Memorandum of Understanding between EcoAgri Foundation, Central Philippines State University (CPSU), and at least two (2) families signifying, amongst others, their life-time commitment to support the project and in conserving the remaining forest patch in the area.
• Baseline information on the biodiversity of the area,
e.g. flora and fauna, wildlife, etc. including threats as
basis for conservation trade off
2. Equipment purchase and installation
• Two (2) units of solar home system and rainwater collector installed and operational
• At least 3-5 photos of actual installation
• At least 3-5 photos depicting the provision of access
to electricity and water of at least 2 families through
the installed equipment
3. Capacity Building
• Copy of Training Report on natural muscovado
sugar, coconut cooking oil and cacao processing
• Documentation of best practices in the development
of at least two (2) hectare-area for agro-forestry embraced by the families who availed of the services
on solar home system and rain water collector.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation
• Copy/copies of electric bill before solar home
installation and after solar home installation
to show a generated savings of at least PHP600.00
per family per month
• Documentation report on the reduction of burden of women and children (two families) in doing household chores
