Project Goals and Objectives
To bring together 250 people whose advocacy is along the area of marine and aquatic resources management and present best practices of Philippine community-based coastal resource management, as well as showcase the Japanese model
Outputs and Outcomes
conducted workshops during which participants had a chance to dialogue with various sectors; put in print the workshop output which could serve as basis for follow-up discussions; gave two presentations entitled "Problematiques of Sustainable Marine and Aquatic Resources Management in the Philippines" and "The Experience of the Ecosystem-based and Community-centered Fisheries management in Japan"
