Project Goals and Objectives
To develop a system for the prioritization of biodiversity conservation efforts in the country by establishing an agreed set of criteria that will be used to assess and prioritize conservation actions and investments in key biodiversity areas
Outputs and Outcomes
In the event, different presentations regarding biodiversity conservation in the Philippines were given. Three workshops with the following titles were conducted: Criteria for selection of priority sites; Criteria setting for prioritizing activities and initiatives for biodiversity conservation investments; and Deign of processes and methodologies in identifying priorities for investment.
