FPE and Alchemy partner for “Green Schools” in Ilocos Norte
Posted on September 22, 2017
FPE partners with Alchemy Creative Communication Studio, a publishing, consulting, training and corporate communications company, for an Ilocos Norte-wide project dubbed “Green Schools”. This project covers one of FPE’s Luzon priority sites -- the Kalbario Patapat Natural Park (KPNP).
Green Schools aims to provide an innovative mechanism for schools and teachers to actively promote environmental causes, empower communities, and encourage the youth to be more involved.
This initiative will use the 6R training model for teachers: 6R stands for Read, Reflect, Reinforce, Render, Relate, and Refresh, which are six simple steps for them to follow using the self-learning training modules.
Specific components of this project include the development of the content and corresponding 6R training program, capacitating the school’s 6R coordinators through training workshops and similar activities, and awareness-raising and appreciation activities for students.
This project will run for one year and four months starting September 15, 2017.
