"Mother" of Rainforestation Named New FPE Chair & CEO

Dr. Paciencia Milan welcomed participants during FPE's 2015 National RAC-Partners-EAP Meeting in Iloilo City

Dr. Paciencia P. Milan, considered the "mother" of rainforestation and an FPE trustee from 2006 to 2010 and 2014 to present is now the new Chair & CEO of the Foundation. She was elected during the Board of Trustees’ Meeting on August 26, 2015 in Quezon City.

Currently, Dr. Milan is a Professor Emeritus at the Visayas State University and member of the Board of the Environmental Education Network of the Philippines. She was also the former President of the Visayas State University in Baybay, Leyte from 1997 to 2007 and former Chairperson of the Tropical Forest Conservation Foundation from 2012-2014.
